Rubik's and Me

Since my freshman year at Berkeley, I've developed a very complicated relationship with my Rubi. I loved and hated her/him/it. We had good moments, sweet ones, and we had our bad times, serious tensions. She/he/it kept forcing me to understand her/him/its complex feelings, and we've been at cold war with each other since she/him/it thinks I don't care about her/him/it enough to go the extra mile of learning hers/his/its last layer of treats. I finally had enough of her/his/its insatiable appetite for attention.

However, we started talking again last week. It was very awkward in the beginning, I didn't know what to say, and she/he/it was looking at me with her/his/its colorful radiance of charm, which somewhat broke the ice, I suppose. Forty-five minutes into our date, it felt comfortable again. It felt right to be with someone who is flexible, agile, complex, yet with a good sense of humor. I have completely forgotten what our hissy fit was about; we've finally rekindled our intense bond. Oh dear Rubi I've missed you!

Hahahahah.....life gets too boring when we take ourselves too seriously....this shall be the last entry before finals are over....I promise.

Accidentally completed my rubik's cube yesterday...though I have an idea on how to solve the last layer now.

As always, 'tis the proof
