Summer in Switzerland - Part V
Weekend trips out of Switzerland get very tiring after awhile and they are usually quite expensive. This weekend instead we decided to explore other parts of Switzerland, and we landed at Zermatt, Switzerland/Europe's most famous moutain peak - the Matterhorn. We took the cable carts up to the very top of Klein Matterhorn (Small Matterhorn) to get a good view of the Matterhorn; however, there were clouds that blocked our view of the Matterhorn, it was a very very interesting experience. There was a Glacier Palace, and I got to see various ice sculptures. It's quite ironic that my first time seeing snow is during summer time. I took many many pictures while at Zermatt. Afterwards we went to Bern (captial of Switzerland) for dinner.
