Summer in Switzerland - Part IV

On Thursday I finally went to Zurich with Greg and David. It was quite hot there, we mainly walked around the Bahnhofstrasse, which is Zurich's banking and shopping district, and accroding to the tour guide, it has one of the most expensive real estate in the world. I finally went to a store that I long wanted to go called fidelio 2. It carries a whole line of Freitag bags, and I was finally able to buy one. We then went on a motor boat to view the city from the lakeside. It was very fun! Friday as usual we have our field visits to internatonal institutions. This time we went to World Health Organization (WHO), and International Labor Organization (ILO). Both visits were very interesting. We learned about the history of WHO, and the Polio Eradication Initiative. At ILO we learned the structure of the organization, and there was a special presentation on HIV/AIDS at the work place. This week went by very quickly, and I will be heading home next Saturday!
