Summer in Switzerland - Part II

I went to Gruyeres, Switzerland last Tuesday with some of my classmates. Gruyeres is known for their world famous Swiss Cheese. We had cheese sampling at a lovely little cheese museum, and we had cheese fondue with steamed potatoes and french bread. The town itself was very small, but it was a very pleasant excusion.

As part of course field visit, we went to Strasbourg in France to visit various European Institutions on last Thursday and Friday. We visited the European Court of Human Rights, European Parliament, and The Council of Europe. Both ECHR and EP are organs of European Union.

Over the weekend I went to Paris with Greg and My. It was extremely hot and humid in Paris. We did all the tourist things in Paris....The Louvre, the Eiffel, the Arc, and the blah blah blah with ten million other tourists in Paris. We were able to see the last stage of Tour de France at Champs Elysees, it was really great.
