Europe Switzerland Trip - Part III

On Monday after the midterm, we had a field visit to Geneva, where International Committee of Red Cross(ICRC) is located. The speaker Jean-Marc Favre gave an interesting presentation on the role of the Red Cross and its independent assistance to countries in need in times of war. I took some pictures from ICRC, and some pictures are of the United Nations in Geneva. We actually visited the UN on our previous field visits, but I forgot to bring my camera, so I took some pictures of it this time.

Tuesday after class, I went to Luzern with Joanna, Allen, David, and Greg to Luzern, which is one of the main tourist attractions in Switzerland. It was a small city by a very nice lake. We had the most amazing Swiss icecream called Movenpick, which contains little pieces of either fruits or nuts of the icecream of your flavor. We walked around the city and got back to Fribourg at around 10:30PM.
